CES Locums works in partnership with Ace Care Training and Care Consultancy. Together we provide Occupational Health Screening and guide you through the mandatory training requirements for locums.

Ace S.A.F.E (Screening & Fitness for Employment) are able to provide you with support to ensure you meet the Occupational Health requirements of both the NHS PASA Frameworks and the Commission for Social Care Inspection - CSCI.

All health screens are reviewed by Occupational Health Nurse Advisors, all of whom are members of the Association of Occupational Health Nurse Practitioners UK - AOHNP (UK). You can be assured of receiving the very best service from us.

Ace S.A.F.E will review all data received and issue an appropriate certificate. This includes:

NHS PaSA require us to screen all candidates in line with the Department of Health Guidance March 2007 and the following iimmunisation/serology reports are required along with completed health declaration which must also be updated every 12 months: 

You are responsible for providing CES Locums with the below serology reports and/or proof of immunisations so that we can process your "Fitness to Work" certificate in line with the NHS PaSA Framework Agreement requirements:

• EVIDENCE OF IMMUNITY TO HEPATITIS B IN THE FORM OF A HEP B TITRE LEVEL. THE TITRE LEVELS MUST BE IN THE FORM OF A PATH LAB REPORT- A NEW TITRE LEVEL IS REQUIRED EVERY 5 YEARS

• VARICELLA -SEROLOGY REPORT REQUIRED FOR EVIDENCE OF IMMUNITY TO VARICELLA/CHICKEN POX

• RUBELLA, MUMPS AND MEASLES - EVIDENCE OF IMMUNITY IN THE FORM OF A SEROLOGY REPORT.

• TB - ALL WORKERS TO HAVE PROTECTION AGAINST TB - EITHER BY WAY OF PROOF OF VACCINATION (RECORD CARD), HEAF OR MANTOUX TEST, OR BCG SCAR SITED BY AN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

• ALL WORKERS MUST KEEP UP TO DATE WITH 10 YEARLY BOOSTERS FOR TETANUS, DIPHTHERIA AND POLIO

IF THE WORKER IS WORKING IN EXPOSURE PRONE AREAS THEY MUST ALSO PROVIDE

• A HEP B SURFACE ANTIGEN TEST - IDENTITY VALIDATED SAMPLE .
• HEP C SEROLOGY - IDENTITY VALIDATED SAMPLE
• HIV DUAL SCREEN 1 AND 2 - IDENTITY VALIDATED SAMPLE

MANDATORY TRAINING

Ace Care are able to provide mandatory training which meets the NHS PaSA Health and Safety requirements including COSHH and RIDDOR, Fire Safety and Infection Control - we can offer this training in various ways either, online, distance learning or at our London venue on a regular basis.

We also provide practical training in Adult and Paediatric Basic Life Support.

Please note that Ace Care does not provide on-line training in Basic Life Support, as we believe that ONLY practical training in this subject, is an acceptable form of assessment of competence.
